John Tuke is happy to hold first aid refresher sessions. Please contact him or the office if would like to attend a session.
For your HEALTH & SAFETY please note that golf bags and trolleys are not to be left inside by the front entrance door. TROLLEY STORE, if you use the trolley store please always fold your trolley before putting in the store to allow space for all others to use.
A reminder to those of you who are Evening Associate Members that you are required to pay the prevailing Members Guest Rate in the Pro Shop if you play before 4pm and if you are a Flexi member that fees at £15 per round should be paid in advance of each game in the Pro Shop. Thank you.
Course News
When playing the course over the next few months, please be sure to wear suitable footwear for the weather conditions and check that your spikes whether metal or soft are cleaned off.
WINTER RULES ARE IN PLACE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
As the clocks have now changed, please note there should be NO play before 08:00 each morning.
Temporary winter greens are GUR unless in play, remember you must take a FREE drop.
Important points to remember:
ALWAYS check the Club (PDF) diary on the Clubs website before planning your golf.
ALWAYS on arrival check for any course updates which can be found on the external “white board” or if in doubt ask the Pro Shop. Daily course updates can be due to weather or course maintenance.
ALWAYS remember to repair divot and pitch marks!
ALWAYS keep up the pace of play and encourage members in your groups to play READY GOLF. SGC supports the R&A in READY GOLF and therefore the Club will NOT tolerate any SLOW play.
