Stewards Cup Competition raises £520 for charity
Sherborne Golf Club Stewards Kevin and Emma Brown organised the Stewards Cup, a new fun golf competition at the club to kick-off the golfing season and raise money for Sherborne and District Stroke Club.
The Stewards Cup competition entry included drinks and barbeque with 130 members taking part. There was also a meat raffle on the day and the event raised £520 for the Stroke Club from entry fees, raffle and sponsorship.
The Sherborne and District Stroke Club provides support, activities and outings to build confidence and help with the rehabilitation of stroke survivors.

Georgina said that this money was very gratefully received by everyone at the Stroke Club and that they could do wonders with this sum, such as ten-pin bowling and other days out for the Stroke Club members.
